PRELIMINARY BROCHURE

Awards and Entry Fees

Beauty (mandatory) Entry Fee: $40.00

There will be a beauty winner and four runners up chosen in each of the 10 age divisions. The winners will receive a beautiful winners trophy, crown, title banner, nice gift, $25.00 Cover Miss Bucks (which may be used for hotel rooms, or optional events at the state finals) and $200.00 beauty entry fee paid to the State finals. The four runners up will each receive a beautiful trophy and their $200.00 beauty entry fee paid to the State finals.

Judging in beauty competition will be based on 1-20 facial beauty, 1-20 personality projection, 1-20 overall appearance. NO INTERVIEWS! If you have any questions or need help getting prepared please call 1-423-544-9552 or email tncovermiss@bellsouth.net. DO NOT TAKE SECOND HAND INFORMATION. All new judges for State Finals. No State judge will know who the winners were from prelimary.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

Most Beautiful, Most Handsome, Best Fashion, Photogenic. Entry Fee: $10.00 each

There will be a winner chosen in each of the 10 age division for each of the 3 optional events. The winner in each of the 3 events will receive a custom plaque AND $200.00 BEAUTY ENTRY FEE PAID TO THE STATE FINALS IN APRIL 2007. You must enter beauty competition in order to compete in any of the 3 optional events.

PHOTOGENIC will be judged on the picture you turn in at registration. Please do not mail your photos. Pictures should be no larger than an 8 1/2 x 11" and no smaller than a 2x3. Color or black and white - smile or serious look is o.k. You will receive your photos back after the competition. If you would like to submit more than 1 photo, there will be an additional charge of $5 for each extra photo. NO FRAMES PLEASE! Photos do not have to be professional, but please LABEL YOUR PHOTO ON THE BACK WITH YOUR NAME AND CURRENT AGE DAY OF PAGEANT...VERY IMPORTANT.

FASHION will be judged on the outfit that you wear for beauty competition in the group line up following age group beauty competition. You will only need 1 outfit for the pageant.

MOST BEAUTIFUL/MOST HANDSOME will be judged on facial beauty only and will be judged during the group line up following age group beauty competition.

SIDE EVENTS: Prettiest hair, Best Smile, Prettiest eyes and Personality. You may do all 4 for $20.00 or $10.00 each. Winners receive a beautiful medallion and $200 BEAUTY ENTRY FEE PAID TO THE STATE FINALS IN APRIL 2007. You must enter optionals and side events to be qualified to win overall. Side events will be judged in a separate line up immediately after the age group beauty competition.

TWO OVERALL WINNERS

There will be TWO OVERALL WINNERS chosen in the pageant. ONE in 0-3 girls & 0-3 boys & ONE in 4 & older girls. The contestant with the highest points will receive a large Crown, Trophy, nice gift, title banner, $200.00 beauty entry fee paid to State finals and 1 Night Hotel at the State Finals & $25.00 Cover Miss Bucks paid when you attend the 2007 State Finals. (hotel night will only be awarded if 10 or more has entered that overall age half). You must enter all events, including optionals and side events (except for extra photos) in order to qualify for the overall winner. NOTE: Hotel prize & cover miss bucks will be awarded when contestant attends State Finals.

PARTICIPATION TROPHY

Everyone that enters the pageant will receive a trophy and $200 beauty entry feed paid to the State Finals in April 2007. NO ONE WILL GO HOME EMPTY HANDED....YOU ARE ALL WINNERS!!!

AGE DIVISIONS

Girls: 0-11 mo., 12-23 mo., 2-3 yrs, 4-6 yrs, 7-9 yrs, 10-12 yrs, 13-15 yrs, 16-25 yrs. Boys: 0-23 mos and 2-3 yrs. Age division will be determined by your age the day of the pageant.

ATTIRE

You will only need ONE OUTFIT FOR THE ENTIRE PAGEANT. Girls may wear SUNDAY DRESSES, HEIRLOOM DRESSES, PAGEANT DRESSES OR PARTY DRESSES - YOUR CHOICE. Boys may wear TUXEDOS OR SUNDAY BEST. NO HATS, GLOVES OR UMBRELLAS PLEASE! For Halloween pageant, special gifts will be given. For Christmas pageant, any attire listed above plus Christmas Dress. For Valentines and Easter, special gifts plus Valentine or Easter Dress may be worn. Best Easter basket contest will be done during Easter pageants.

ADMISSION

ADULTS: $5.00 CHILDREN: $3.00 Kids 3 and under are free.

Everyone must pay admission except the contestant. There will be no admission for pageants held in the malls. The pageant is self-supporting and all door admissions, entry fees and sponsor donations go toward ballroom rental, advertising, awards, judges, trophies, crowns, bonds, staff, etc.

NO PERSONAL CHECKS AFTER 10 days prior to pageant. Cash or money order will be needed from the 10 day deadline or at registration.

#2 You may enter at the pageant. Bring your filled out form and fee (CASH ONLY - NO CHECKS ACCEPTED AT THE PAGEANT) one hour before the pageant starting time. If you could, please call

SPONSOR DONATION TICKET SALES

If you would like, you can sell tickets to help pay for your entry fee and win some great prizes. Each ticket sells for $1.00 and will be for a $50.00 cash drawing. Selling tickets has nothing to do with how your child places in the pageant. This is only a promotion to help you get sponsors to pay for your entry fees. Make as many copies of the sponsor ticket page as needed. Click here “ticket sheet” to print copy of tickets. You must attend State Finals to receive free night hotel. (You must call the Thursday before the pageant to report any Sponsor Ticket Sales in order for us to bring trophies)

100 tickets: All events paid in preliminary
125 tickets: All events paid in preliminary, nice gift
150 tickets: All events paid in preliminary, nice gift and crown
175 tickets: All events paid in preliminary, nice gift, crown and trophy
250 tickets: All events paid in preliminary, nice gift, large crown and trophy
350 tickets: All events paid in preliminary, large crown, trophy & 1 NIGHT HOTEL AT STATE FINALS
500 tickets: All events paid in preliminary, very large crown, 6 foot trophy & 1NIGHT HOTEL AT STATE FINALS and $25 in cover miss bucks

STAGE FORMATION AND WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

What do I have to do? Simple, just go to the X’s marked on the stage as indicated on the diagram and turn at the #1,2,3 or 4 x's and enter and exit as indicated below. Parents may go on stage with children that cannot or will not go alone. It could be you on our brochure or website next year. Tickle your baby or whatever it takes to get that cute smile. If you are more familiar with the back formation...you may do either...do not change your formation.

You must notify us the Thursday before the Pageant of how many tickets you sold.

Tickets must be already cut when you turn them in at registration.
